On May 18, 1931, Helen was born in Winnipeg, to Michael and Katie Stoffer, the eldest of four children. She grew up and was educated in the Geyser area close to Riverton. She moved to Winnipeg in the early 1950s and worked in the clothing industry for several years. Helen married Jim McInnes in 1968 and Rob was born in 1971. Her greatest joy was being a stay-at-home Mom for Rob. She enjoyed meeting friends for coffee and the odd game of Bingo.
Helen moved into Oakview Place in March, 2013, and the family would like to thank the staff for their care and compassion shown to Helen and her family.
In accordance with Helen’s wishes no formal funeral will be held. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
