RONALD McCORRY
Peacefully on
the morning of Wednesday, December 31, 2014 Ronald McCorry passed away at the
age of 82 years.
Ron will forever
be missed by his loving wife Jean of over 50 years of marriage; sister, Maureen
and brothers, Bernie and Danny; beloved children, Evelyn (Steve);
grandchildren, Christopher and Melissa; Jean’s children, Eleanor (Fred),
Richard (Rosalyn) and Dorothy (Lornie); as well as numerous grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
On May 5, 1932 Ron
was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Halifax is where he also began his career in
the Canadian military. Ron is a recognized Canadian Veteran and served his
country proudly.
Ron and Jean
enjoyed many activities over the years including curling, bowling and golfing. They
loved to travel and enjoyed many vacations, cruises and bus trips together over
the years. Ron was a devoted sports fan who always enjoyed watching his home
teams the Winnipeg Jets and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
