RICHARD WOJCIK'S WINNIPEG FUNERAL HOME - SIMONE HENAULT FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

SIMONE CECILE HÉNAULT
(nee PARISIEN)
October 17, 1953 – September 04, 2014

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that I announce the peaceful passing of my dear Simone, surrounded by her loving family at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 60 years, after a courageously fought battle with cancer
Simone will be lovingly missed and remembered by her devoted husband of 37 years, Ron;  daughter Lee-Ann (Mike); son Scott (Natalie); grandchildren  Kaylee, Jayden and Kari. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers and sister; Paul (Jeanne), Philippe (Réjeanne), Alice (George), Richard (Patricia); as well as many nieces and nephews. Simone was predeceased by her parents Octave and Agathe Parisien and infant brother André.
Simone was born in St. Boniface and raised in St. Adolphe, Manitoba. Upon graduating high school she was hired by the Federal Department of Supply and Services Canada where she remained for 38 years, retiring in 2010. Although Simone worked outside of the home, there was no one who loved her family more profoundly. Her children and grandchildren were paramount to her; Simone always gave herself selflessly for their needs and guidance. She rejoiced in all of their accomplishments and was the pillar of strength and understanding in their moments of need. Simone truly defined the meaning of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  in St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds  presiding. Inurnment will follow in Saint Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
If friends and family so desire, donations in Simone’s memory may be made to The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 1160-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 0V9.
Simone you were taken from us far too soon, rest in eternal peace knowing that we will hold you forever in our hearts and love you always.
