July 1, 1935 - July 20, 2014
It is with deep
sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Koshelanyk. Connie passed away
peacefully, on Sunday, July 20, 2014, after a long illness.
Left cherish
Connie’s memory are her husband Sidney; sons Tom (Sandi) and Gord (Darcie);
daughter-in-law Donna; grandchildren Kristen (Brent), Stacy, Bryan; great
grandson Damon; and brother David (Doreen). She was predeceased by her parents
Edwin (Ted) and Tillie Hargrave; sons Brian and William; brothers Forrest, Roy
and Cullen; and sister Phyllis.
Connie was born in
Winnipeg, where she attended Isaac Brock and Gordon Bell schools. She married
Sidney Koshelanyk on April 23, 1955 and became a devoted wife and mother. She
was a stay at home mom and raised her four sons. In 1975 she began working at
the Canadian Red Cross, where she worked until 1993. In her semi-retirement she
kept herself busy with odd jobs such as babysitting and housekeeping. Connie
was very devoted to her family and loved her children and grandchildren more
than anything. Nothing perked her up more than a visit from her “little ones”

and friends for a Celebration of Connie’s Life on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at
10:30 a.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue.
