Richard Wojcik's Funeral Chapel Winnipeg - Mary Fote Funeral Arrangements

MARY FOTE

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved sister and aunt, at Poseidon Care Centre on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the age of 99 years.
Left to lovingly remember and deeply miss Mary are her brothers Johnny (Elsie) Kizlik, Steve Kizlik; many nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Pete Fote; sisters Josephine Oneschuk, Helen Kianski, Jean Shumila, Nellie Horosko; brothers Mike Kizlik, Paul Kizlik and Tony Kizlik.
Mary worked many years as a housekeeper for some prominent Winnipeg families and then worked at the Winnipeg Winter Club. She enjoyed caring for all aspects of her home and garden and especially loved her Bingo nights and watching all sports on TV. Family and friends were always welcome in Mary’s home and she enjoyed many special visits with them.
A Graveside Service was held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 4:15 p.m. in the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Beausejour, MB. Pallbearers were Mary’s nephews.
The family would like to thank the third floor nurses and staff at Poseidon Care Centre for the wonderful comfort and care they showed Mary over the last nine years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Poseidon Care Center, 70 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg, MB R3M 3E5.
